Senior Data Visualisation Specialist

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Data Visualisation Specialist to join our Data Science team. As a Senior Data Visualisation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into visually appealing and insightful dashboards and reports. You will collaborate closely with business units, top management, and fellow Data Scientists to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
This role will allow you to contribute to the hugely exciting field of Data Science. Your skills and experience will make a direct impact on our business success and this role will give you the opportunity to be part of an innovative, collaborative and inclusive environment.
Location: You will be required to work out of our London and Windsor offices approximately 2 days per week.
About the Role:
Develop interactive and visually stunning dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Design and implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring consistency and usability across all reporting platforms.
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientist to ensure seamless integration of visualizations with data pipelines and analytics workflows.
Provide training and support to business users on how to effectively utilize dashboards and reports for decision-making purposes.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data visualisation techniques and tools.
About You:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience in data visualisation as a Data Visualisation Specialist or similar role.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with data manipulation and coding languages such as SQL, Python. (Javascript visualisation, animation libraries are preferred extra)
Experience in designing and implementing interactive dashboards and reports.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
