Sales engineer (Life science/ medical device) Working from home- Home counties/ London £45'000-£55'000 + Car + OTE £75000+ + Pension + Holidays Do you have a sales background from a life science or medical device background? Are you looking to join a market leader in its industry who's products are at the forefront of technology and where you can earn over £70000 in commission & bonuses? This global company have a great brand and have been established for over 50 years. They have a proven track record in their market for producing world class machinery. They operate in clinical diagnostics, life science and blood transfusion industry which enables their engineers to work across those three spectrums given diversity to their roles whilst making it technically interesting. In this role you will covering the south regions which will be mainly the London, home counties and Cambridge area. Working within a highly motivated and skilled team you will be working the account manager to Identify, develop and close successfully across the region. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a sales based role and have worked for a life science or medical devise company. Candidate who have knowledge of real time PCR are encouraged to apply. This is a brilliant role for a sales engineer from a life science or medical device background to join a market leading company where you can increase your earnings and progress your career into senior roles. The role *Covering the south of England i.e. Cambridge, Home counties, London and Oxford. *Working with your Account managers to Identify, develop and close successfully across the region *To offer post-sales support and training both to new customers and to our existing install base in order to maximise revenue through our instrumentation. Also, to identify competitor instrumentation onto which we might also win business and develop sales. *To attend, and contribute to, exhibitions and seminars both local to account managers, and nationally where appropriate. *To bring together information on new products and new applications in order to aid account manager understanding so that we further develop sales and opportunities to our existing, but also potential customer base. *To feedback market knowledge developed in the field to the team as a whole and the marketing team in particular. The person: *Candidates need to have at least 2 years experience in a sales based role. *Has been in a sales based role within the life science or medical device industry. *Candidate will ideally have knowledge of real time PCR but not essential *Live in London or the home counties.
