As a Charging System Validation Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Charging Systems V&V Chapter, working within the dynamic Charging Systems Verification & Validation Group. Your role will be pivotal as the point of contact for verifying Charging System Functions, collaborating with various teams including Charging Product squads, Propulsion Product Groups, and the Central System Integration team. In this role, you'll verify and sign-off cutting-edge charging features and system functionalities for our future JLR BEV products. You'll collaborate closely with Hardware & Charging System Design teams to develop tailored validation & verification solutions for specific vehicle architectures. This is a key role that has cross functional interfaces which will play a pivotal part in ensuring all key metrics and deliverables for Charging Systems Validation & Verification are met. Key Roles and Responsibilities Work with development engineers to develop, execute, and track the testing of new and existing products and accessories. Develops test methods to be used from engineering specifications. Validates functional requirements and benchmarks current system performance Ensure tests executed to correct procedures & operating conditions, accurately and produce high quality data with limited oversight from Lead Validation Engineer. Adopt and support a structured problem-solving approach on various issue investigations and issue reported by cross functional teams. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Essential Knowledge of various Propulsion Systems and its Concepts (BEV, PHEV, MHEV) Validation & Verification experience preferably within the Automotive industry. Knowledge of formal problem-solving techniques Results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment. Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred, ideally in Electrical/Electronics/Control Systems/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
