Data Community Manager & Change Management Lead

This data source presents a huge opportunity to create significant value for our customers, for us to build innovative products, provide new services and improve the capabilities of our Centrica employees to drive our journey as we transition towards NetZero. This is where you come in.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Community Manager & Change Management Lead to drive Centrica's AI transformation journey. You'll be responsible for building and nurturing a vibrant data community within the organisation while spearheading change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of AI/ML and analytic use cases across all business units. This role requires a combination of strategic vision, strong leadership, and effective communication skills to drive organisational change and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

This role will allow you to contribute to the hugely exciting field of AI. Your skills and experience will make a direct impact on our business success and this role will give you the opportunity to be part of an innovative, collaborative and inclusive environment.

Location: You will be required to work out of our London and Windsor offices approximately 2 days per week.

About the Role:

Building a Data Community:

  • Create and nurture a strong data community within Centrica by bringing together enthusiasts, experts, and stakeholders.

  • Identify and engage potential community members across the organisation.

  • Organise events like All Hands meetings, hackathons, and workshops to encourage collaboration and innovation.

Leading Change Management:

  • Drive the adoption of AI technologies by leading change management efforts.

  • Work with senior leadership teams to develop plans and communication strategies.

  • Promote the benefits of AI and foster a culture of learning and improvement.

Strategic Partnerships and Innovation:

  • Establish partnerships with universities, institutions and organisations to drive innovation.

  • Keep up with AI trends and explore new solutions to business challenges.

About You:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in community building, change management, or organisational development, preferably in the technology or energy sector.

  • Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics frameworks and their applications in business.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving organizational change and achieving results in complex, cross-functional environments.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning, able to identify opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to drive business impact.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
