Job title: Digital Media Designer

Salary: £47,683+ (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop digital products based on data, accessibility, user needs, and business goals
  • Create sketches, wireframes, high-quality designs, and build high-fidelity prototypes (Utilising your Adobe skills)
  • Contributes to the planning stage and implementation of wireframe designs
  • Create training material as and when required for the internal customers
  • Re-draw images provided where necessary to improve the quality or message being delivered
  • Coordinates content to meet the needs of users
  • Performs checks for the accuracy of design when transposed onto the webpages
  • Contributes to the development of wireframe into SharePoint webpages
  • Understands the technical aspects of SharePoint development and integration to ensure designs can be met

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of working in an IT function
  • Working experience of the full suite of Adobe creative cloud tools, develop digital products based on data, accessibility, user needs and business goals
  • Create sketches, wireframes, high-quality designs and build high-fidelity prototypes

Desirable:

  • A solid understanding of accessible design principles and information architecture
  • The ability to proactively find opportunities to enhance user experience and contribute to business goals
  • SharePoint development experience
  • Experience in a UX Designer role

Business Change Centre of Excellence team:

As a Digital Media Designer, you will be working with internal customers on large scale change programs involving developing and creating websites. You will be responsible for the web designs, developments of images and media creation predominantly, but also working within a creative team to create customer portals as part of the websites

The successful candidate will have the freedom to be creative and be open and flexible to new ideas and change, as well as demonstrating attention to detail and excellent communication skills
