£40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Hybrid Working Options (3 Office & 2 Remote) + 36hrs per week + Private Healthcare + Pension + Excellent Company Benefits

East Kilbride (Commutable from: Glasgow, Hamilton, Coatbridge, Strathaven, Paisley, and Kilmarnock)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, where you will be working alongside an experienced team of engineers, where you will get exposure to exciting projects and broaden your skillset.

This company have a worldwide presence and are split into multiple subsidiaries. They are known for taking care of their staff and investing in their skill development. As a result of their continued growth, they are now looking to bring in an additional Engineer into their EV team.

You will be designing and developing a range of products and working closely with other engineers within the department.

The ideal candidate will be from a product development background with knowledge of bill of materials, tolerances and FEA.

The Role:Designing and developing mechanical products from concept through to mass productionPreparing, reviewing and approving 3D CAD designs, assemblies and part listsLiaising with internal and external customersLots of training and development opportunitiesMonday to Friday, 36hrs (with hybrid working options)

The Person:Mechanical Engineering or Product Design related Degree / HNDProduct development experienceCAD experienceUnderstanding of tolerancesAny background within Automotive, Defence, Sheet Metal would be idealRecent Engineering graduates are still encouraged to apply
