WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Project Engineer, you will be operating as a technical specialist with regards to your commodity/commodities or your technical field within the SVO, Vehicle Personalisation, Interior Engineering team, work within multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of modules, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs meeting all defined targets on cost, quality and time.
You will work on the delivery of the commodity targets, work within a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate commodity concepts, features and alternatives and develop production drawings, and within a cross-functional team to support delivery, through the engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs on time, quality and cost. You will also assist with the development of operational targets created in the strategy phase to ensure they can be delivered robustly.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, skills & experience:
Essential:
Project management
Coordination of multifunctional teams
Comprehensive MS office (excel)
Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
Desirable:
Experience of delivery of modules including physical engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs
Experience of delivering and developing technical products in Manufacturing
Experience in the delivering technical products, preferably in the Interior Engineering field
