A new and rare opportunity has arisen for a Analog IC Design Director to be a key hire in a brand new design centre in the desirable city of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. From beautiful parks and outdoor spaces, great nightlife, live music, dynamic food scene and a range of festivals and events, this city has a lot to offer and the area is growing in Semiconductor activity also.
In this role the Analog IC Design Director will be joining the Memory interface chip, joining some exceptional engineers developing products that make data faster and safer. This design group is responsible for specifying and architecting leading edge memory interface buffer chips for DDR5, DDR6 and beyond. You will be coming in at a time of growth and will be helping identify and build up a new team.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage a team of Analog IC Design Engineers
- Project planning and execution, schedule risk and priority management
- Provide technical direction and guidance, performance reviews, team talent development
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Take a lead role in architectural definition of various state-of-the-art, high speed and low power Analog/Mixed-Signal DDR PHYs
Experience in memory design, SerDes or high speed ADCs is of high interest. Experience is ideal in the following; chip design experience in DDR, Verilog coding and/or Matlab Simulink modelling.
You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, self-motivated and detail oriented with strong good engineering practices.
