A leading premium automotive business and leading to move towards electric autonomous vehicles. WHAT TO EXPECTIn your role as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer you’ll be responsible for our digital security, reviewing documentation and liaising with third parties to create and review our cybersecurity standards, managing projects when needed. You’ll develop robust security solutions and practices for real world deployment, documenting and organising information to create clear and concise insights into our security operations and their importance. Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesCreating and reviewing cybersecurity standardsDeveloping robust security solutionsDocumenting and organising information to gain insights in security operationsDevelop, document and institutionalize JLR cyber security best practice software guidelines, practices and proceduresWork directly with in house and Tier 1 suppliers to guide and ensure compliance to the guidelinesConduct software guidelines reviews, identify gaps, recommend solutions, and ensure alignment with strategies Best practice software designs for security/ reliabilityAdvise cyber security leadership on all aspects of cyber operations and cyber security affecting security and critical infrastructure  WHAT YOU’LL NEEDKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential: Holds minimum of a Bachelor degree in a technological engineering or computer science subject or similar industry experienceExperience in the automotive sector (Such as: security research, system exploitation, cyber security engineering)Competence to work in initial concept definition and to write the full set of requirementsCompetent with project management toolsC language experienceKnowledge of IoT microcontrollers and devices
