Technical Lead - Mobile Apps - Remote

Technical Lead with experience in leadership of Mobile Development projects required by expanding SaaS provider to work in a remote or hybrid capacity (London/Glasgow).

Their native mobile apps are currently being migrated from Xamarin to Kotlin and Swift. You will play a key part in this by leading the small team of Mobile Developers working with the Agile Product team. This will include:

• Organising and prioritising the teams day-to-day activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products updates.
• Ensure the team is adhering to best practices in mobile application development including code quality, performance and security.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help engineers in the team develop their skills.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.

 Your skills and experience

• You will have worked in an Agile product team leading mobile application projects and Engineers.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android mobile platforms, including languages tools and frameworks. This will include: - Kotlin, Swift, Xamarin, Flutter or React Native.
• Have led technical mobile development projects and wants to continue helping team members technically to improve the quality of their work and the product.
• Strong problem solver and excellent communicator with amazing stakeholder skills
• Be able to positively and collaboratively influence decision making and improve practices across the team.
• Able to work in a remote environment and prioritise your workload.

Salary: To £65K + benefits (25 days holiday, plus bank holidays & birthday day off, pension, WFH allowance. Medical insurance, life insurance, tech loan scheme and regular social events.)
