Site Service Engineer

£35,000 - £50,000 DOE + Progression to Director & Management Level+ Days-Based Monday-Friday + Training + Site based with Occasional Field Work + No Callouts/Rota

Site based in Erdington (Birmingham)

In this role, you will have responsibilities across the workshop and occasionally further afield on-site, with constant training on the business, products, and market. Responsibilities also include measuring and cutting materials, interpreting technical drawings to define specs and requirements, along with some welding/soldering experience.

The ideal candidate will have welding/fabrication experience, including knowledge of mechanical power tools and machinery, and electrical fitting knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings. In addition to this, the candidate will be willing to take on a management position in the future.

The Role

• Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
• Assembling and fitting components to specification
• Assess/quality check completed work
• Reading an interpreting technical drawing
• Ensure efficient workflow throughout production and servicing process

The Person

• Site Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Workshop Engineer
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Good Mechanical/Electrical fitting experience
• Mechanical/Electrical qualifications (desired)
