Job title: Senior IT PMO Lead

Location: Preston (Other UK sites may be considered): We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £50,000

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a PMO team within Data and Analytics, coordinating their output to ensure all project deliverables are met
  • Apply expert understanding of PMO techniques (e.g., EVM, Risk, Change) to track project deliverables
  • Lead the collation of performance metrics from various data sources to report against cost, schedule, milestone delivery and other KPIs and supporting the facilitation/chairing of meetings
  • Support the estimation and resource profiling process
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Project and Delivery Managers to support with all Project requirements
  • Upskilling less experienced PMO team members through on-the-job training/guidance/coaching
  • You will have line management responsibilities within this role

Your skills and experiences:

  • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience - e.g., HNC / Prince 2 Foundations / Computer Science Degree
  • Experience of working within an IT function within a similar role
  • Foundation level of experience in delivering objectives in line with some if not all of the Project Management Information Management and Technology skill sets
  • Competent leadership skills
