This role will support the Works Manager and you will be responsible for machine shop production & methodology of in-house machined components. Alongside the machine shop supervisor you will focus on maximizing utilisation of resource, skills, and competency of the workforce, implementing lean manufacturing and up-selling opportunities. The role

  • Modify, Optimise & monitor manufacturing processes within a busy machine shop
  • Supporting the Works manager to maximise resources
  • Lean manufacturing

The person

  • Previous experience within a rotating machinery repair / machine shop
  • Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Knowledge of raw materials, quality systems and standards , process improvement techniques
