Seeking a Contract Software Engineer with C++ and Linux expertise!

Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion to work in the Defence and Space Sector?

Our client is looking for someone to join them on an initial 6 month contract to help undertake the design and implementation of a satellite communications Software Defined Radio Modem.

You will be joining a small team containing Software, System Firmware and Infrastructure Engineers.

Key Skills Required:

- C++ on Linux Platforms

- Java on Linux/Windows

- Device management interfaces for design, implementation and test

- GIT & Eclipse CDT

Desirable:

- Experience of System and Software modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect (SysML/UML)

- Experience of Unit and Integration test tools

- Experience in User Interface Design, Implementation and Test using HTML, CSS & Javascript

Type: Inside IR35 Contract Duration: 6 Months initially with likely extensions. Rate: £60 - £65 per hour Location: Onsite, Portsmouth
