Mechanical Design Engineer (Simulation/FEA) Peterborough, Cambridgeshire £35 - £38.50 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35 6 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities

Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with simulation and FEA experience who is looking for an exciting and varied role working on a long term contract with a global market leading company.

Do you have experience in creating design simulations and conducting FEA analysis? Are you looking to be a direct contributor to the next generation of development projects for an international customer base?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be a part of a small and dedicated team where you will be using simulations such as Hypermesh and Ansys to create simulations for use in the development of automotive projects. You will be working on bespoke projects and be conducting FEA analysis on the designs to create reports to customers. This role will be working in a Monday to Friday role that offers hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days a week on site required.

The Role:

• Using simulation tools such as Hypermesh and Ansys to create detailed simulations
• Conducting FEA analysis and conducting data analysis to produce reports
• Immediate start on a long term 6 month contract working Inside of IR35 regulations

The Person:

• Design Engineer with experience in creating simulations including Hypermesh, Ansys or similar packages
• Previous experience working in the automotive, aerospace or similar industries
• Looking for a long term contract with an international market leading business
