Opportunity to Join  and support the Plant launch Organisation in the exciting AGILE in Launch Landscape, Be an empowered leader to ensure collaboration of the Group/s or Squad/s deliver the plant readiness in launch.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the operational launch team with initiatives that deliver the Launch Quality Operating Systems & Integrated Product Structure and its associated scorecard metrics.
  • Operate as an AGILE lead for plant launch, engage the wider teams to collectively work together.
  • Be disciplined in cadence attendance and promote professional attitudes through creator’s code behaviours.
  • Manage, guide and assist teams to support cross functional launch approach to resolve any issues using or developing robust toolsets and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ensure Customer feedback is recognised as a drive for making the correct decisions for the teams in AGILE
  • Ensure robust standards for Jaguar Land Rover programmes are applied.
  • Drive clear communication with senior management and ensure evidence of escalation items have followed a robust process from Level 0 to complex supportive help tip levels. 
  • Support all product quality issues adequately through the appropriate AGILE Forums - Stand ups, Scrum of scrums, Showcases and constantly recognised the efforts and rewards of the team/s.
  • Contribute to the development of the plant launch and quality operating system for the new model introduction.
  • Develop a transparent and unified approach to support the Station readiness / Process readiness and ultimately the Plant readiness.
  • Track Quality performance via each build phase to show success and actively drive the teams to achieve target level agreements.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
  • Manage / Develop the Launch Leaders and Product coaches.
  • Responsibility to launch teams in T&F, BIW, Press Shop and Paint, to provide coordinated launch activity for the plant.
  • The Leadership & Management of Team including Staff & Hourly Paid -Development, good disciplines, Behaviour.
  • Serve as the Scrum Delivery Team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
  • Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
  • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order.
  • Support plant activities to deliver flawless launch i.e. parts presentation, BIW And Trim and Final build phases (Including model year changes) setting up tracking systems and report out documentation.
  • Interface with HR, Union, training department and manufacturing to implement the selection criteria, selection process and requirement dates.

  • Experienced in Manufacturing process both Online and Offline
  • Understanding of vehicle programme quality and health and safety processes & procedures
  • Microsoft package elements (Power Point & Excel)
  • Assertive and self-motivated to supporting the business growth.
