Our client is looking for their next Production Engineer, they specialise in the design and production of electronic-scanning ground radar systems for various applications including national border security, counter-drone operations, perimeter security, wide area surveillance, and coastal protection.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Engineer:

• Maintaining precise product specifications, test records, and build documentation
• Drafting and ensuring accurate implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
• Offering support during radar testing procedures
• Liaison with manufacturing partners and component suppliers on technical matters 

• Proficiency in teamwork and effective communication, both within the team and independently
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
• Adaptability to changing requirements and flexibility in approach
• Determination to see tasks through completion and proper documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Capacity to cultivate relationships internally and externally

• Understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering processes
• Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, and drawings
• Experience using PLM systems
• Proficiency in electronic (including PCBA) and mechanical assembly
• CAD proficiency is advantageous
• Possession of a full UK driving license
