Motor Controls Engineer

Location: Zurich

We are seeking a talented and experienced Motor Controls Engineer to join one of my esteemed clients based in Zurich Switzerland.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing control algorithms for various types of motors and drives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, simulate, and test control algorithms for electric motors and drives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate control algorithms into existing systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for motor control systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure compatibility between control algorithms and hardware.
• Analyse motor performance data and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of motor controls.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in motor controls engineering.
• Strong knowledge of control theory and control algorithms.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
