Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Modules
I have partnered with an expanding semiconductor company in Munich and due to their continued success are looking to hire a Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Modules.
The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualisation, definition and applications engineering of next-generation SiC Technology and molded power modules for automotive traction inverters.
Other responsibilities include:
- Motivating and mentoring junior members of the team
- Development of power loss modelling software for wide band gap semiconductors
- Driving thermal measurements, thermal efficiency and EMI
- Broad knowledge of semiconductor applications
- Expert Knowledge in SiC-MOSFETs
- Good understanding of converter topologies
- Circuit troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with the use of Matlab/Simulink, Altium, Labview, and other simulation software packages
- Must have the ability to understand and Gate driver circuits of IGBT and SIC MOSFETs
