IT Buisness Analyst - Research and Evidence Management

Type: Fixed Term Contract

JOB PURPOSE

The Information and Technology (I&T) programme seeks an exceptional I&T Business Analyst to lead I&T analysis activities, process improvement and finding efficiencies and solutions to advance human rights value within the Amnesty Movement.  

Primary projects include the rollout of the central Microsoft platform for Movement-wide collaboration across global tenancies, implementing tools for improved I&T management of assets and security, and support for other major projects such as building new platforms for foundational finance and human resources capability, establishing a new digital engagement hub for supporter engagement and customer relationship management (CRM). And it is not just projects, Operational work also contains an array of initiatives that bring benefit to our shared human rights goals.  

This is a unique change management opportunity, a chance to establish platforms, practices and innovation to lay the platform for human rights change and activism across the globe. 

ABOUT YOU

You will have proven experience navigation complex, distributed organisations, and be familiar with business intelligence, information management and information security disciplines.  

Interpersonal skills are crucial as are technical skills notably in end-to-end requirements gathering and management to deliverables, business processes, design, testing and operations. Familiarity with enterprise solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Dynamics 365) will also be beneficial. Above all else, an ability to find and deliver solutions will be key. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Through Business Capability lenses, create an ‘as-is' and ‘to-be' definitions to support end-to-end management of initiative scope, business case and benefits. 

Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions 

Work on design options/potential systems/process solutions with I&T peers 

Facilitate product selection process, conducting both desk research and formal processes including writing RFIs and RFPs and analysing responses 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated competency in a formal business analysis role  

Track record of supporting projects from requirements through to benefits realisation across multiple teams 

Transformation experience, bringing new platforms and ways of working through delivery of systems, processes and business change notably across distributed user bases and geographies 

Formal qualifications such as CCBA CCBP or BCS Business Analysis Certificate or equivalent 

Familiarity working with DevOps/Agile project methodologies such as SCRUM
