This London team has over 300 employees which they have grown from 0 in only 3 years!The successful candidate for this Senior Java Engineer role will have expertise in Java multithreading, concurrency, and low latency. Day-to-day responsibilities will include building microservices, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes, and integrating with third-party APIs. You will also be working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, and Cassandra.This Senior Java Engineer position would be ideal for a tech professional who has:Senior level commercial experience with Java developmentMicroservices architecture experienceExperience in multithreading is desiredEnjoys working with big data technologies such as Hadoop (or is interested in learning more about them)Keen to work with messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MongoDB.As the Senior Java Engineer, the successful candidate will be a strong advocate for modern development methodologies such as Agile, BDD/TDD, and pair programming.
