The first part of this journey is to build a contractor onboarding portal to streamline the process from a candidate placement to on-boarded contractor.This role will design and develop a digital experience platform to create competitive advantage for SThree, working as part of a tight knit, like minded software engineering team.The role offers a rare blend between the security of a FTSE 250 company, as well as bringing the start-up feel of having the ability to put your own stamp on the technical aspects of the business. We have massive plans to grow and you will play a vital part in this.What you'll be doing:Hands-on design, development and testing of solutions.Work with business stakeholders to understand opportunities and to design solutions that deliver the required outcomes.Work with other technology teams to design and deliver end-to-end capabilities.Integrate solutions with other systems in SThree's technology landscape, for example CRM and ERP systems.Configure CICD pipelines to support continuous delivery.Maintain infrastructure-as-code to build environments and applications.Focus on automation across infrastructure, testing, deployment, operations, and security.What you get:£75,000-85,000 salaryRemote working (occasional quarterly trip to the office)Flexible workingCompany share scheme28 days holidayWhat you're good at:Extensive experience of building web applications on a Java technology stack.Extensive experience of using Kubernetes and understanding of it's principles.Experience of configuring CICD pipelines to support continuous delivery.Experience of RESTful API design and implementation.Good understanding of cloud computing architectures and fundamentals like security, performance, and scalability, with experience of working with cloud technologies in Azure and AWS.Experience with test-driven development and test automation frameworks and tools.Please apply with an up-to-date CV and I look forward to hearing from you!
