Position: Backend Software Engineer (Golang)Location: Oslo Are you a talented and passionate software engineer looking for a new challenge in the green technology industry? Our Oslo-based Greentech SaaS partner firm is seeking a skilled Golang Backend Software Engineer to join the team.As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining the backend of our software applications. You will work closely with our frontend developers, data scientists, and product owners to build scalable and robust systems that support our customers' needs for years to come.Responsibilities:Optimise and scale our systems to support increasing traffic and data volumeDesign, develop, and maintain the backend of our SaaS products using Golang and PythonCollaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of front and backend systemsWork with data scientists to integrate machine learning algorithms and analytics into our productsWrite clean, efficient, and reusable code, adhering to software development best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software productsQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Golang backend developmentStrong understanding of software design principlesExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and RedisExperience with cloud technologies such as AWSFamiliarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsIf you are passionate about green technology and want to make a positive impact on the environment through innovative software solutions, we encourage you to apply.
