My client, based in Cambridge, is currently looking for a Senior RF Engineer to join their team and support in designing, building, and testing new RF-based systems and products. You will be joining a vibrant working environment driven by technical development and innovation. Working here as a Senior RF Engineer provides the chance to use your technical skills to work with the team to pursue exciting new ideas through from concept into reality. You will have the pleasure of working with a supportive and experienced team of subject matter experts, in a state-of-the-art electronics lab containing the newest test and measurement equipment (spectrum/network analysis/anechoic chambers). Advanced robotic systems, sensors for autonomous drones, mobile ad-hoc radio networks, messaging systems for emergency services, airborne and space-based radars are just a few of the recent projects my client has been working on. To succeed in this position as a Senior RF Engineer you would benefit from having:BEng or preferably MEng in electronics engineering (or similar discipline).Experience in designing, building, and testing RF-based circuits (e.g., for radios and/or radars).Good microwave, RF, analogue and digital circuit design, and simulation skills. Whilst not essential, experience of mm-wave frequency design would be beneficial.Basic radio and/or radar systems knowledge.PA / LNA / Filter and frequency synthesiser design.Antenna design.This position comes with a list of benefits from a profit-sharing bonus scheme, company pension scheme and private medical insurance to 25 days annual leave, flexible working, and support for career progression, as well as many more!
