We are seeking a System Architect with a strong ASIC background to join our leading Semiconductor client based in Edinburgh. This company develops ICs that makes batteries more efficient and is set for enormous growth over the coming years. Ideally, this role would be based in Edinburgh, however flexible working is also an option for the right candidate. The System Architect will develop the product requirements for an application area that will see huge growth over the next decade. The System Architect will identify and take stakeholder requirements, understand the challenges and market trends, and propose and develop solutions to address them. The System Architect will be a linchpin in the business, working closely with a whole spectrum of teams, including marketing, applications, R&D and safety to ensure all business and product requirements are met. The System Architect will have:
Several years’ experience in system architectureAn extensive background in digital ASIC / SoC developmentStrong R&D experience at component levelExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAny experience working within automotive / functional safety would be a plus, but by no means essential.
