The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst to provide technical support with a variety of specialist applications that support our work to promote competition and make markets work well for consumers, businesses and the economy.

You will play a key role providing support to colleagues with applications such as our ERP Software, Unit 4 Business World (Agresso), Office and Outlook 365, and specialist applications such as Spitfire, SharePoint Online and associated SharePoint applications such as Casework Hub and RTP/STA. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Responding to application incidents and service requests and taking a proactive role in problem management

Overseeing the release of applications

Working with application developers and external suppliers in order to troubleshoot site-specific performance issues for CMA users

Providing support with ongoing application delivery projects

In addition, you will engage with departments across the CMA and with external suppliers regarding the introduction of new solutions that will improve business efficiency and security. 

You will need experience of working with and troubleshooting Unit4 Business World (Agresso), SharePoint Online and M365 Application Software, as well as experience of working in an environment which uses IT Service Desk Procedures, Service Level Agreements and Supplier Management. You will also need knowledge of technical configuration, application architecture, and software testing.
