If the answer to these questions is yes, we would love to hear from you… We're looking to evolve our Data Analytics and AI capability in Cloud Services, where we enhance the platform offering to enable the exploitation of data and analytics in the public cloud. This will mean using Google Cloud Platform capabilities, products and services but also involve operating across our multi-cloud environments to ensure the entire breadth of our data user community are being served. Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;As a Senior Cloud Engineer you'll work in a highly collaborative way and enjoy seeing the influence of your work by crafting the strategic cloud platform helping realise the next generation of services that form the Bank's vision!you'll carry out hands-on agile development to build out new capabilities in the public cloudyou'll translate customer requirements into curated, self-service, scalable solutions and role-modelling Cloud DevOps as it should beyou'll contribute strong and resilient engineering solutions that safeguard our data from security threats What do we need to see from applicantsYou'll have effective inter-personal communication skills and ability to adapt to working with othersYou'll have a understanding of development lifecycles and experience in end-to-end delivery of technology productsYou'll have recent practical experience working with a broad set of Google Cloud products & services, including using the Google SDKYou'll have a understanding of Cloud SecurityYou'll be Certified in GCP, with Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Data Engineer certificationYou'll be comfortable with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD using Jenkins or GitHub Actions Desirable skills to haveYou'll have expertise in data, analytics and machine learning with a view of the broader AI landscapeYou'll have an active interest in new technologies with an awareness of developments and trends within the data and AI space If you're excited by this role but your skills and experience don't quite fit the job description, please apply anyway.
