Job Description
Responsibilities
Your key tasks as an IT Change Manager will involve:
apply expert knowledge and understanding of IT change management to create an effective and efficient IT change management process, aligning with industry best-practice
take ownership of the processes and procedures involved in IT change management, ensuring that requests for change are validated and meet business needs
carry out regular reviews of the end-to-end IT Change Management process and initiate improvements, including process automation where possible
implement and embed internal Change Advisory Board meetings
contribute to the planning process - prioritising IT changes and associated implementation work against the capacity and capability of the team
provide regular progress updates and reports on IT changes and associated blockers, risks, issues and successes
manage the communication of IT change details and schedules to update key stakeholders
manage adoption activities relating to IT changes that we have implemented
escalate issues or problems to the appropriate stakeholders
Essential Skills and Experience
You will need to have demonstrable skills and experience of:
implementing policies, processes and procedures based on IT Change Management methodologies and working within their boundaries
influencing, stakeholder management, relationship management and conflict resolution
collaborating and communicating across teams and organisational boundaries
facilitating meetings and workshops, with a methodical and rational approach to problem solving
providing written reports that clearly articulate progress made with IT changes, including details of blockers, risks, issues, and successes
the ability to work independently and as part of a team
