Project Manager - Loans lab Location: London based with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week Salary & Benefits: £52,912.00 - £66,140.00 GBP base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Loans Lab within the Consumer Lending Platform for a Project Manager with proven Technical and Business experience, ideally in Retail Banking or Financial Services. The successful candidate will work on a portfolio of projects and programmes ranging from Regulatory to Journey Optimisations within the Loans Business Change Team. Engaging with both internal LBG Platform Teams and external suppliers to deliver technology and business outcomes.

Utilising Waterfall methodologies with aspects of Agile tooling, we deliver change that makes a positive impact to our Customers. About the role Knowledge & Experience - Leading change projects from idea to implementation and deployment. Delivering to agreed scope, cost, quality and timelinesImplementing a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project lifecycle, producing and owning all project management deliverables, using relevant methodologies, to the right level of qualityProduces and owns the project plan, tracks progress against this, and actively manages all risks against the plan. Seeks and embeds resolutions to recover from any slippagesEngaging and influencing Internal and External stakeholders at all levels to achieve a common goal.Working effectively to ensure a coordinated and collaborative approach to delivering change. What else could you bring with you:Great interpersonal skills, the ability to explain complex technical matters to a non-technical audience, the ability to build good working relationships, logical & creative thinking skills and being able to articulate the benefits of the work we doYou'll bring passion, drive, a proactive can-do attitude and an open mind to help us develop new ways of doing things, whilst developing your own skills and experiencePrevious experience of delivering complex and technical change across LBGUnderstanding waterfall Project Management methodologies and their practical application What we need from you: You're a dynamic, proactive and adaptable individual - able to use & learn new skills & knowledge in varying circumstancesA background in Banking or financial services would be beneficialYou're able to remain calm and lead the team effectively through constrained timescales and difficult programmesYou have well established communication skills with experience of delivering key messages (written and oral) to senior stakeholdersYou can influence stakeholders of all levels and balance their expectations and facilitate difficult discussions under constrained timescalesYou will have experience of managing project budgets up to £2m and all associated governance for each stage of the project lifecycleYou'll be a problem solver who will influence positivelyYou'll ideally hold a recognised Project Management qualification (APMP, MSP, Prince2, etc.)You'll embody the Group's Values and Behaviours and will encourage this in team members More than anything you'll bring passion, can do attitude and an open mind to help us develop new ways of doing things, whilst developing your own skills and experience.
