Sogeti UK - Application & Cloud Technologies Practice

The Role

Sogeti are looking to grow the Application and Cloud Technology Practice and require Full Stack Developers to join a new team. You'll be responsible for designing and developing web applications, RESTful services and APIs, as well as database and reporting applications. We're looking for developers who have a sincere passion for technology. You'll work in a customer-oriented environment and be well adept at understanding the business process and end-user perspectives.

As a Full Stack Developer .NET - Consultant, we're looking for:-

Required skills;-

Frontend Tech Stack: Experience with either C# OR similar JavaScript Frameworks such as React or Vue or AngularJS etc.

Backend Tech Stack: Experience in .Net

Jira, Confluence and TFS experience

Understanding of DevOps culture and needs

Understanding of CI-CD design considerations and capabilities as well as tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins

Proven ability with understanding and adherence to Software Engineering principles and delivery methodologies (e.g. Design Patterns, TDD, Kanban, Code reviews, Clean Code, Code Quality etc)

Cloud experience

Experience with any of the following: Linux/Shell Scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, Scaled Agile Framework

Good communication skills

Experience working as an individual responsible for your own timely delivery of work

Nice to have skills;-

Experience with unit testing, like NUnit.

Experience of delivering in an agile scrum environment

Risk/issue management and status reporting

Understanding of application monitoring and logging

Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Have a passion for technology with a proven ability to rapidly learn new technology/tool/concepts while adapting to changing priorities

Flexibility on travel / work locations during the working week
