This market leading company specialise in the design, installation and commissioning of commercial Solar PV, EV charging and Battery Storage projects across the UK. The company have thrived in recent years and have an ever-growing pipeline of projects, as a result they are looking to build their design team to facilitate future success.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing designs, estimations and using industry leading software for commercial rooftop solar PV projects. You will receive full training for the position and have the opportunity to work on some of the largest rooftop PV projects in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of electrical or renewable energy engineering with AutoCAD experience and a passion for renewable energy. You must also be proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel.

The Role:

*Provide Solar PV system designs for commercial roof-top projects

*Production of technical specifications and drawings using PV SOL.

*Support the sales and contracts team seeing projects through from initial enquiry to commissioning

*Manage the development of cost effective design and engineering solutions and deliver complete design packages for project proposals (including tenders)

*Ensure full compliance with quality and H&S systems

The Person:

*Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related discipline

*Electrical knowledge

*AutoCAD experience is preferred but not essential.

*Passion for the renewable industry

*MS Office and comfortable at creating models on Excel to assist with your designs/assessment

*Commutable to Burnley
