Senior Data Science Product Owner (x5 roles)Lloyds Banking GroupBristol (hybrid working pattern, 1-2 days per week in office & rest from home)Salary & Benefits: £48,784 to £80,411 base salary depending on location and experience.Additional Package: Annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash allowance, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.We are very flexible employers and don't stick to the normal 9-5. What exactly does a Data Science Product Owners do at Lloyds?

You'll proactively drive the end-to-end delivery of initiatives through experiment cycles and facilitate the identification and management of new opportunities. You'll also be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely and ethically, using help from our governance processes.Leading multidisciplinary squads & driving business value through;Exploring problem statements and identifying potential solutions using data science & machine learning.Understanding stakeholder needs, shaping and prioritising backlog of tasks - ensuring the scope, time & workload is understood and documentedUtilising modern Agile practices, working alongside Scrum Masters, Data Scientists & collaborating with other project teams across Chief Data Analytics OfficeContinuing to embed the data led culture across business units and encourage curiosity, trialling and learning by experimentation. Ensuring that the product is developed to the desired standards following internal governance framework.You'll interact with a range of technical & non-technical staff to coordinate work effectively, remove blockers & barriers to progress.You'll present project techniques in a clear, visual manner to support senior stakeholder decision making.Where does the role sit?

We're the Chief Data & Analytics Office within Lloyds Banking Group! We take ideas from the concept stage and work with our customers to understand how data science and machine learning can be applied. You'll work on a wide range of exciting projects with no shortage of work!

What do we need to see from your application?We're keen to see diverse and varied applications, however as these are senior positions, we'll need to see the following as a minimum to be considered for interview;Prior background as a Data Science Product Owner (or role with similar tasks) leading & organising data science initiatives. We often find people who have worked as a data scientist then gone into Product Ownership, or perhaps you are a Product Owner/Product Manager with a passion for everything Data. Experience in task prioritisation, backlog management and team coordination within an Agile framework. Commercial experience applying machine learning or data science initiatives in practice, combined with a theoretical knowledge. You'll have worked on data science solutions for large scale industry applications that have led to deployed products.
