Where will this role sit?The Intelligent Automation (IA) team are at the forefront of the Bank's ambition to use exciting new technology to help Britain prosper. We provide the technology to enable the Bank to deliver the right customer experiences. To do this we're working with ground-breaking technologies at scale to harness the Bank's data. We want to use 'intelligence' derived from Natural Language Processing and Understanding to drive automated solutions that fulfil customer need. As the Lead Product Owner you'll work closely with your Engineering Lead counterpart. Day to day activity is structured through Agile, so you'll lead the production of the vision, roadmap and the prioritised backlog of work for the teams. You'll also be accountable for winning income, managing expenditure, delivery commitments and the team's risk profile. As the person responsible for successful delivery of the right product or service, we'd like you to be as passionate about our product as we are. In particular, for us, this means: collaborating with a diverse and varied group of business areas and people across the Group. Keeping your finger on the pulse of emerging ideas and technology. Spotting the opportunities around the business to develop new products and services. And leading our team of Data Scientists & Engineers to ensure our propositions are grounded in what's technically feasible. Naturally we also expect the Lead IA PO to create a collaborative working environment that empowers the team and keeps the creative juices flowing. We're looking for a talented individual to cover all of this and help us realise the potential of our digital products, Robotic Process Automation, Chatbots and Natural Language Engineering to intelligently automate the future. What will I do?Leading a multi-disciplinary team who are developing, deploying, and running Intelligent Automation capabilities across the whole of Lloyds Banking Group.Developing and realising the strategy for unstructured data within Lloyds Banking Group, including how this fits within the Bank's conversational banking strategy.Understanding the problems that the business are trying to solve and designing and delivering end-to-end solutions to these, utilising our IA capabilities.Working with a range of senior stakeholders, obtaining their buy in and ensuring their satisfaction is key. Establishing, maintaining and influencing a wide range of relationships with partners and software vendors across the IA space.Ensure maintenance of the live service - running, maintaining, and evolving the platforms that these solutions are hosted on and achieving demanding availability targets.Manage the teams risk profile inline with the Bank's governance processes and appetite. What we're looking from you……Experience of running end to end of a software & infrastructure production service. From conception of mission, vision, strategy and backlog, to mobilisation, comms, delivery and run.Proven experience in strategic and large transformations to deliver impact and drive value.Knowledge, understanding and experience of senior Product Ownership.Knowledge, understanding and experience of Agile delivery.Knowledge, understanding and experience of Natural Language and scaled automation systems.Knowledge, understanding and experience of leadership and pastoral case of large teams (circa 150 strong).
