Salary: £50,000-£60,000My client collaborates with our colleagues to build new features that drive our online success. Due to our continued success, we are looking to expand our team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have commercial experience building web sites on the front end in HTML/SCSS/JS.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the international Marketing, Logistical, & Customer Experience teams to deliver change to all of my client’s websites and cloud-based applicationsYou will implement and deliver first class user experiences on Their ecommerce websitesDelivering change that is high quality, maintainable, performant, and secureIdentifying and resolving production issuesWorking with and supporting the Principal Engineer to evolve their architectural landscape, ensuring the websites and applications support the company’s growthRequirementsNeed to have excellent front-end skills (HTML5 / SCSS / JavaScript (ES6+) / Responsive Design)Must also have experience using package management tools (npm, webpack)Experience using version control software (Git) within a teamExperience using Agile development methodologies, especially KanbanAbility to optimise web applications for SEO performanceExperience consuming REST APIs DesirablesWould be nice to have experience of Shopify Plus, including liquid theme developmentExperience of tailwind CSS framework would be a bonus.Have experience in writing unit and feature testsExperience in developing and using CICD pipelines would be a pusExperience building scalable and maintainable server-side web applications in modern PHP (5.6/7)Experience of AWS Serverless technologies, e.g., Lamda or equivalentQualifications in Computer Science or similar areas
