Machine Learning Engineer - Robotics and Autonomous Systems - Computer Vision Join an organisation building AI-based 3D computer vision algorithms optimised for low-power computing platforms. As a Machine Learning Engineer on the team, you will sit side by side their engineering and research team and drive the development and deployment of embedded AI-based vision solutions. The team offer intelligent mobility systems which are rapidly improving perception, simulation and visualisation across industry, and you will help them improve and expand on their existing platform, as they find further applications for the their work. AI-powered perception & planning software for both on-board & road-side sensing, advancing connected & autonomous mobilityMulti-site, multi-camera monitoring provides always-on asset tracking, safety & security management for quaysides & compounds within Docks and PortsAlways-on, instantly-connecting, monitoring software extracts key safety & productivity insights for vehicles & workforce in daily operations in WarehousesFlexible software solution for rail stations & remote locations incl. unpowered, footpath-type level crossings to unlock insights on usage & potential unsafe activities A PhD is not required for this role, however an academic background in a scientific subject is advantageous (BSc and MSc level!)
