QinetiQ is currently offering an amazing opportunity to become a Senior Project Controller within the Marine & Land domain. You'll hit the ground running, meeting and working with colleagues in several areas of the business, supporting in the delivery of project controls, providing support to IDTs and other large strategic programmes. The role will operate in a small PMO team part of wider Portfolio Team that manages delivery of a large, strategic contract for QinetiQ in the UK. The incredibly exciting position works closely with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to help deliver support for QinetiQ's contract (the Long Term Partnering Agreement) across a range of innovative projects in all areas of defence, as well as other defence-based commercial clients.

What do I need? You'll need experience in some of the following areas would be desirable, but not essential:

Educated to a minimum of GCSE level (to included English and Mathematics).

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at varying levels and experience engaging with stakeholders.

A recognised Project Controller or Project Management qualification at Foundation or higher level (APMP introductory certificate or equivalent).

Awareness of the project lifecycle and IDT's

What will I be doing?

The role will support the Operational Business Planning (OBP) process within QinetiQ, ensuring the resource demand for site and facility operational maintenance and related tasks is accurately reflected in plans.

You will be responsible for:

Supporting the OBP process to match resource demand with supply plans to deliver timely commitments and targets.

Delivering project support tasks within assigned team; EpicFlow, MS Project, lifecycle briefcase, project reporting, invoicing and other project document creation and management.

The role will have responsibility for supporting assigned operational areas/Sites (with workload split between yourself and another project controller)

Work with operational teams to activity is carried out within site management, security, assurance, property etc. developing effective working relationships and engaging with stakeholders

Capture and plan activity using Microsoft Project and PPM 2016 and deliver APM competencies, monitoring operations using reporting systems such as EpicFlow and SAP (#LI-BI1)
