We have a full-time position for a React Developer to join our team researching human behaviour for commercial clients and public policymakers. As one of our Front-End React Developers, you will help to develop bespoke online experiments which determine how people make decisions. You will be part of a fast-paced, exciting, product-centric environment, collaborating with other developers, as well as analysts, project managers and clients, to produce scientifically precise findings which satisfy our clients' needs.

Position
We are seeking a passionate React Developer to join our team. The role will involve:
Developing interesting and complex web-based simulations of online stores in a variety of industries, allowing us to observe consumer actions and responses
Developing in-house software products utilising cutting edge technologies
Developing and supporting online services such as portals and websites
Supporting our collaborative company culture by contributing towards day-to-day office activities such as software and hardware support
Essential skills:
3+ years of front-end development experience
Strong commercial experience with React, React Hooks and Redux
Excellent understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+)
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Understanding of Responsive HTML & CSS across browsers and devices, to include excellent understanding of CSS fundamentals, knowledge of semantic HTML and ability to demonstrate front end design aesthetics with focus on User Experience
Experience using Jest and React Testing Library for test automation
Strong experience in building modular, clean, testable, and reusable components
Strong knowledge of Git
Experience using Figma
Package management using Yarn or NPM
Experience with Unix/Linux
Good communication skills, with an ability to explain technical issues to team members of all technical levels, both in-person and online
Beneficial skills:
Experience using other modern JS Web Frameworks, e.g. Angular, Vue
Experience using Python
Experience using Tivian's EFS Survey system
DevOps Experience with AWS, particularly EC2, S3, ECS, and ECR, Docker, web services such as Apache, NGINX, etc. and R-Shiny
