About The Role
The Infrastructure Analyst will join an already established team within CBS, provides a level of technical knowledge to undertake the troubleshooting and resolution to production incidents or problems independently escalation to Infrastructure Engineers if required.  Completes tasks to agreed levels of quality, within stated timescales with no supervision.  Looks for improvement opportunities within the team and its processes/procedures.  An effective team member who provides support and guidance to peers and other team members.  Contributes to team efficiency through the creation of accurate technical documentation. Key deliverable/accountability of the role: Responsible for independently troubleshooting and resolving all product and infrastructure service incidents Undertake technical tasks such as patching, maintaining scripts, automated code, reviewing logs, assisting build and configuration activity and maintaining the technical estate. Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure high priority activities are completed first About You A willingness to learn, a desire to embrace new technology and is open to a challenge Be able to deliver clear and logical documentation for team members and end users to follow Able to work under pressure. Thorough, with a good attention to detail. Deliver to agreed timescales.  Flexible approach to working hours to meet own objectives and assist colleagues in meeting their objectives. Essential: An understanding of IBM block storage technologies (A9000, FS9100 & SVC) An understanding of IBM Spectrum Scale (NFS & SMB) An appreciation of SAN technologies (IBM SVC SAN, NetApp), FC-HBA & NFS connectivity including Cisco MDS. An understanding of IBM Secure Key Lifecycle Manager (SKLM) and its use/configuration An understanding of Storage architectures and previous experience supporting Some experience with the implementation of Storage solutions An appreciation of vSAN, HCI and Dell vxRail technologies  
Desirable: An appreciation of Backup software (Commvault) An appreciation of Virtualisation technologies (VMware) An appreciation of Monitoring Technologies (SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Datadog etc) An appreciation of Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and associated features An understanding of Linux command line technologies Knowledge of AWS server administration and features Experience working with Cisco UCS & HP Blade infrastructure Experience of working in a DevOps environment  
Hours: 35 - Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm + Available for out-of-hours support, on a Call-out rota basis Contract: Perm/Hybrid About The Company#BetheChange
