About the role:
We are looking for a Search Engine Optimisation Analyst to support our Scottish Widows Digital team. As a SEO Analyst you will be working in our specialist Data Analytics Centre of Expertise supporting all projects in the IPI Division to develop an SEO strategy, monitor Search performance, and identify page improvements to optimise for Search.
This is an exciting opportunity to steer the future work in a division heavily investing in it's digital presence and introducing industry-leading tools and platforms. The work is fast paced but highly engaging and rewarding.
What you would be doing for us:
Developing an SEO strategy including introducing new tooling and promoting the usage of search data across multiple teams
Keyword research to guide development priorities to match customers expectations
Assisting copywriters to build appropriate meta content for a range of consumer and business facing pages
Upskilling colleagues on reporting tools to encourage engagement with search data and enable self service
About you:
Great problem-solving skills and the creative ability and confidence to propose solutions and find opportunities.
Comfortable working within multi-disciplinary teams, with experience prioritising personal workload across multiple projects.
Passionate about self-improvement, always seeking opportunities to continue learning and to pioneer new techniques or tools.
What we need from you:
Demonstrable experience managing SEO on website and platform migrations
Experience with Core Web Vitals improvements
Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS for SEO
Ability to perform keyword research and gap analysis
Experience reporting on current rankings and performance
