IT Infrastructure ManagerLondon The Organisation The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park. We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year. We are now looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team and lead the development of our IT infrastructure. This is a permanent, full-time role working 36 hours per week. The Role As the IT Infrastructure Manager, design and manage our IT infrastructure to provide a robust solutions and ensure we continue to provide highly responsive technical support. Ensuring our network meets the Cyber Essential requirements for baseline security, you will document our IT infrastructure, including both our onsite and cloud-based solutions. You will make sure appropriate support arrangements are in place and take responsibility for the virtualised and networked environments. Additionally, you will manage a rolling programme of hardware and software compliance whilst leading and inspiring your team to achieve their potential and make strong, individual contributions to our organisation. About You To be considered as the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will need: - Experience overseeing the development and implementation of infrastructure components and services
- Experience of managing AD, DNS, DHCP, Hypervisors, SAN, LAN, WAN, Networking, WLAN, Exchange
- Extensive knowledge and experience of managing a windows environment
- Experience with systems planning, security principles, network capacity planning and other best practices
- Excellent software/hardware troubleshooting experience
- Strong team management skills
- The ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
- The ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language Ideally, you will have knowledge of data privacy practices and laws. Any one of the following qualifications would be beneficial: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, MS Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional, Data Protection Certification (EU/GDPR/P, CIPP/E) and/or Security/Compliance Auditing (ISO 27001) Other organisations might call this position IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, IT Infrastructure and Security Manager, Group IT Infrastructure Manager, or IT Service Manager.
