Are you a Data Scientist looking for a new opportunity that will stretch your technical skills and help make a positive difference to the UK?

We are looking for data scientists to work at the heart of the transformation of our statistics, using your skills as a data scientist to harness insight from a diverse range of data sources. Most of our roles focus on the development of reproducible analytical pipelines using a range of coding languages (notably R, Python and PySpark) across a range of cloud based and local platforms. The roles also provide an opportunity for cutting edge data science analysis with the aim of producing timelier and more granular statistics.

You will work at the heart of the transformation of our statistics, using your skills as a data scientist to harness insight from a diverse range of data sources. You will have a passion for using data science to improve the quality of analysis and drawing conclusions.

 A self-motivated learner, you will have the drive to use the time given to you in this role to constantly improve your data science skills, learning from your colleagues and a range of external sources.

A team player, you will be comfortable working alongside a range of colleagues from analytical and digital professions, demonstrating mutual respect and appreciate for the skillsets you each bring to bear.
