We are looking for CMDB and ITOM engineers to provide configuration, etc. in support of an enterprise CMDB initiative. Our client is initially building a CMDB for all their network devices. This program will now go enterprise wide. They need help with ingestion of data, creating SN groups, and understand types of data and do normalization and synchronization within the CMDB. Responsibilities: Utilize ServiceNow Discovery domain. Discovery includes IT Assets, Physical Hosts, Virtual machines.Perform normalization and synchronization with the CMDB.Handle business rules, client scripts, script includes, script actions/events, import sets, export sets, asynchronous transformation, scripted REST, etcBuild transform maps to import data sources and maintain integrations.Perform scriptingWork on automation and build custom workflow (orchestration) activities.Coordinate with ITSM process ownersProvide troubleshooting, as neededRequired Skills: 3+ Years experience with ServiceNow Expert level knowledge on the ServiceNow core platform modules and applications.3+ Years developer experience with ServiceNow CDMB, ITOM, ITAMDeeply familiar with CMDB and/or ITOM, CI's, Discovery, ITAM, ITSM, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Flow Designer, and Service Portal designer modules.Experience with ongoing reliability testing.Experience with Agile/SaFe methodology.Expertise with JavaScript, Jelly script, or Powershell script.Experience building transform mapsExperience working on ServiceNow Automations and building custom Orchestration (Workflow) activities.Experience with MID server builds, Service Mapping, and Integrations.Experience with network routing and troubleshooting.Experience with troubleshooting Discovery issues with known and unknown IPs and any network devices.MUST BE a strong communicatorMUST BE ABLE TO work with minimal direction, be logicalMUST BE ABLE TO "act like a detective"MUST BE ABLE TO work well in a fast paced dynamic team environment
