My client is a leading UK provider of wealth management and employee benefit, who pride themselves in building long-term relationships to provide trusted advice, high standards, and a personalised delivery.They are looking for a Cloud engineer to join a team of 6 engineers, to look after day to day typical system administration. O365 specialist, Azure specialist. This is a salaried role paying up to £60,000 depending on the experience. You can expect a comprehensive benefits package which includes flexible working etc. They pride themselves on working closely with all of their employees to understand what their long term aspirations are. They then signpost their training and development in order to help them reach their goals.Key responsibilities include:Research and development of new technologies to help deliver the service for the businessManage project delivery with relevant documentation i.e. Design, Build, Test and DeployTraining and adoption for end users of new systems o Breakdown and delegation of tasksManaging acquisition onboardingProviding technical support and advice for integration'sBreakdown and delegation of tasksProvide support to the Service Desk and Cloud Administrators and act as a technical escalation pointProvide early life support for new projectsKey skills required:Extensive System Administration experienceExposure to Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaSStrong experience with Storage Accounts, Resource Groups, AAD, AVD with mindset on resiliency i.e. availability sets and zones and recovery service vaults.Strong network skills specifically around Azure and vendor specialists i.e NSGs, Palo Alto, SD WAN architectureGood organisation, prioritisation and communication skillsGood understanding of governance and reviewStrong project management skillsGood design and documentation skillsAbility to work under own initiative yet work as part of a team when necessaryClick apply now or get in touch with Karim Dennis on (0)203 1484645 or [email protected] note the client is moving quickly with interviews being scheduled over the next few days.Nigel Frank International is the global leader in Microsoft Recruitment.
