Test Engineer London based (2 days per week in the office) Salary & Benefits: £41,592- £51,990 base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. Where will this role sit?Intelligent Automation (IA) builds enterprise solutions for Lloyds Banking Group. Within that our labs, Digital Products and Natural Language Engineering provides a number of services:Conversion of speech or voice to text and machine learning based comprehension.Securely sending images of identity documents such as passports.Customer document retrieval for GDPR.Identity verification via facial recognition.We've more than 50 people most of whom work within our four agile teams which:Ensures the existing product set is operational, on-boards new value streams and increases reliability and supportability.Improves our existing offeringsBuilds models using data science techniquesBuilds new products when opportunities are identified I hope you'll agree that there's a great opportunity here to turn a collection of parts into a well-functioning whole. What will I do?What follows is what you might find yourself doing as a Test Engineer on a day to day basis, but your role can be flexible depending on the team's needs, and your own aspirations. Our objective is to grow T- and ?-shaped people and create an environment where you can do what you enjoy.You'll work within a diverse feature team running the quality engineering practices within the engineering teams.Help develop acceptance criteria for stories and write automated tests to verify them.You'll work on a Java/JavaScript or Python based automation frameworks within our labs.Identify how functional requirements can have an impact on the functional, and non-functional, parts of the system. Help us to build processes and practices to ensure we check them.You'll share with and learn from our teams and the wider organisation to ensure our customers benefit from industry leading practices.Work with our Engineers building our Devops pipelines and help us deliver continuous integration. What we're looking from you……We believe that people don't fit neatly into roles, and we value everyone's individual skills, experience, and knowledge - it's what makes you amazing!As a minimum to be considered, we would like to see demonstrated experience of:Some knowledge working in multi-discipline Agile teams.Some programming and scripting experience and are willing to learn.Experience working with an established automation framework.You understand how API works and can use tools such as Postman to test.Some experience testing mobile applications.You understand programming principles such as engineering re-usable code and are familiar with coding standards.Some knowledge in DevOps tooling for execution of automation tests such as Jenkins and GIT.Good communication skills and can clearly present ideas and provide direction to others.
