*On-site in Troy, Ohio OR Hybrid if in Cincinnati or Columbus, Ohio* Job Description The BI Database Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining SQL Server databases including data warehouse databases. They will design, develop, and deliver database solutions including ETL. Position requires ability to administer all functions of a Microsoft SQL Server including index analysis for performance optimization, backup / restore strategies, security, troubleshooting job failures and alerts, and optimizing ETL processes. This position will interact and work extensively within the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack including the SQL Server Engine, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & PowerBI.Qualifications 5+ years of Database Administrator experience including 2+ years in business intelligence and data warehousing environments3 + years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server & Microsoft BI Suite like SSISStrong TSQL scripting abilitiesExperience with cloud servicesExperience in evaluating execution plans and index analysisExperience in SQL Server security.Understanding of relational and dimensional data modelingExceptional organizational skills to prioritize work and ability to balance maintenance and project workExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently or as a team member.Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related fieldPowerShell and Unix shell scripting skillsExperience in SSAS, SSRS & PowerBIUnderstanding and knowledge in data analytics and reporting *Green Card, US Citizenship, H 4EAD*
