My client has an urgent requirement for a Lead GCP DevOps Engineer to join them on a migration project from on-prem to the cloudThis is an initial 6-month contract, Fully remote, Outside IR-35. SKILLS:Proficiency within:DevOps engineeringTechnical solutions architecture design and deliveryDevelopment and Coding JavaTDDCode reviewInfrastructure as codeKubernetes (GKE)GCP (mandatory), AWS or AzureData and Development and Automation Leading teamsOn Prem migrations to CloudCloud Native principles Strong experience in:Pipelines and CI/CD, GitOps conceptsUNIX OSsDocker and tool containerization (Kafka, Zookeeper, Grafana ...)Kubernetes and knowledge in Cloud Native Foundation LandscapeKafka Preferred experience in:Experience of Infrastructure for GCP, AWS, or AzureOpen-source technology such as KubernetesGKE or K8Security for these types of platformsExperience with HelmJenkins and a shared library architecture for automation
