An excellent opportunity for an electrically biased Manufacturing, production or process Engineer to join a global company, at a plant in a transitionary period, where you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the business.

On offer is an exciting role that will offer challenging but rewarding work, where you would be able to have a major influence on the manufacturing process. The role comes with great opportunities for progression and development, where there is a clear path to a management role should you wish to follow that route.

The business is a manufacturing giant that has been operating globally, and in the UK, for over 100 years. with a global annual turnover of over $5 Billion, with this plant in particular generating over £20 million. However they are not resting on their laurels, with future investment already being promised in this location and a modernisation plan in place.

In this role you will expected to undertake a number of responsibilities all with the view to streamline and update the current manufacturing process, working alongside the plant manager to develop an effective planned maintenance system for the site as well as implementing new improvement systems. Any LEAN or Kaizen experience will be a bonus and you will sure your electrical knowledge to upgrade and improve current production machinery and processes. You would also be expected to learn the new robotic line systems with a view to become the plant expert for this equipment.

The Person:Experience programming PLC'sDegree Qualified (preferably Electrically biased)Experience getting in and out of machines5 Years' experience in similar role (Preferred)
