Job Title: Trainee Consultant

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000

Job Type: 12 Months Fixed Term As a Trainee Consultant you will become a part of our new, exciting TSG Academy. Over the course of a 12 month fixed term contract you will work with a variety of Practices across the business to become an expert on our Microsoft product offering, as well as taking time to learn about how our Technical Departments operate. This is a long-term customer facing role, with a development plan incorporating on the job training, industry recognised certifications, self-study and working with some of our most highly skilled staff.

Following successful completion of the 12 month training plan you will become a permanent employee of TSG with the ability to consider which Microsoft specialism you would like to pursue a long term career in.

By completion of the TSG Academy, you will be able to competently carry out the following duties;

Attend business analysis meetings with customers to scope, gather requirements and design solutions

Run workshops demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of TSG offerings

Implement solutions for clients

Attend classroom and onsite training with the view of preparing and presenting to new and existing customers for Microsoft SharePoint & additional approved Stack products in the future

Carry out customisations of Microsoft Applications where appropriate to meet customers' requirements using platform features, and middle tier technologies

Manage and conduct projects in accordance with TSG's methodology

Carry out other implementation, training and support duties as required

UK Wide travel and overnight stays will be required to fulfil the customers' needs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience;

Essential:

Willing to learn knowledge of TSG technologies and offerings, both on-premise and cloud, and how these affect solution design

A good eye for detail with the ability to perform tasks following guidelines

Willing to learn knowledge of Governance and the Security & Compliance Centre and how it can be used to implement security for a business

Willing to learn knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applications

Willing to learn Teams architecture and adoption

Willing to learn Document management, retention policies and security

Knowledge of the Power Platform

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

Microsoft Certifications would be a distinct advantage however, there will be opportunities to attain these during your time with our TSG Academy

A Technology related degree and / or qualifications would be preferred
