Job Role  We are looking for a Data Protection Coordinator to join us. The Data Protection Coordinator will be part of the data protection team and will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation and oversight of the privacy program in our products, processes and technology. The DPC will also act as a point of contact for internal and external data protection and privacy requests. Key responsibilities  Review and advise on data protection clauses in contracts. Prepare and implement necessary internal documents for data protection compliance. Identify data protection needs and collaborate with the legal department to ensure we treat the information provided by our users and customers in the right way. Provide support to internal stakeholders in relation to Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs). Help implement training programs for employees across the business on data protection requirements. Empower and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure we respect user privacy and GDPR requirements across the entire user journey. Coordinate data protection activities to ensure that documentation is of suitable quality and delivered on time. Help improve and optimize existing data protection operations. Serve as point of contact for data protection-related queries. Keep up to date with current data protection law developments. Requirements  Work Experience: min. 3 years within a data protection function in Switzerland or the EU for a company with global coverage. Experience in developing policy and compliance training.  Languages: fluent in English, both written and oral. Knowledge of French will be considered a valuable addition to the role. About You   Good knowledge of EU data privacy and data protection regulation, and a good understanding of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation worldwide. Good knowledge of information technology and data management systems required. Good understanding of global privacy landscape. Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the company and from all functions of the company. Ability to work unsupervised and ability to work efficiently within a team. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Strong change and project management skills. Ability to undertake large, long-term projects, develop alternative methods to complete them, and implement solutions. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion. Knowledge of compliance management standards, tools, methodologies (experience of OneTrust would be advantageous). CIPP-E certification and any additional certifications will be a bonus.
