Midlands (ideally located: Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton, Watford, Bedford, Stevenage, Worcester)

£32,000 - £35,000 + Bonus OTE (£45,000) + Home-based + Car + Progression

Are you a CNC Turner / Programmer looking to join a globally-renowned manufacturer, offering specialist training and progression to become an Applications Engineer?

This role will enable you to become a technical expert within an industry-leading field whilst rewarding you for your skills through an excellent bonus structure, company car, fuel card and paid food expenses.

This specialist company operate globally supplying various industries with leading CNC machinery. Due to continual growth and market dominance they require an Applications Engineer to join the company.

In this position you will attend client sites across the UK where you will train customers how to efficiently use the machinery and advise them how to optimise their programs to minimise cycle time. You will also provide cycle time analysis, tooling and machine setting advice along with helping the clients get the most from their supporting software packages.

This is an excellent chance for an CNC Programmer to step off the tools and share your technical expertise with leading businesses, all whilst working for a specialist manufacturer who have an excellent record for job retention and stability.

The Role: Attend customer sites across the UKProvide assistance with tooling and machine settingVisit customers and provide CNC machine training

The Person: Experience with turning machinesAbility to program and prepare tooling lists for multi axis lathesExperience working with ISO controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi)Willing to travel and stay away
